If it weren't for my husband, I don't know that I could handle the large Parasail kite that I use. Sometimes it feels like it will lift me completely off of the ground if I don't let go. He is there, behind me, maintaining the reel.
Just recently, I read an article where someone suggested using a climbers rigging to help reel the kite back in. Perhaps that would help.
