Randy started the journey to paramotoring in July 2020 first by going to Springhill, La. for lessons with Kyle Oglee and once we got back home there was lots of kiting. We went to a nearby park and sometime just the front yard, It just depended on the wind.

If it weren't for my husband, I don't know that I could handle the large Parasail kite that I use.  Sometimes it feels like it will lift me completely off of the ground if I don't let go.  He is there, behind me, maintaining the reel. 

Just recently, I read an article where someone suggested using a climbers rigging to help  reel the kite back in.  Perhaps that would help.

This photo is a composite and was take in Petal, Mississipi at Petal Friendly City Park.  It is a rather large softball complex.
